Job summary

Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead the team delivering client asset reporting platforms and the Sales Technology ecosystem. The role emphasizes architecture leadership, hands-on coding when needed, and data-driven decisions to improve performance, reliability, and security.

You will oversee design, development, and modernization efforts, working with cross-functional partners and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams with coaching and performance management.
• Hands-on development with C#/.NET; ability to contribute to code when needed.
• Experience translating business priorities into executable engineering plans.
• Strong data-driven decision making and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the software engineering team delivering client asset reporting and related platforms.
• Establish long-term technical direction for architecture and engineering practices including AI-assisted development.
• Ensure reliability, security, and operational health of critical business applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Global Client Group, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
