Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Technical Engineering to lead engineering activities, drive cost reduction, and support new product introductions across the business group. The role requires strong technical knowledge and people leadership.

You will work with service, operations, supply chain, and finance to implement development plans, schedules, and performance targets while fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
• 10 years of Engineering experience.
• Experience leading a technical team is preferred.
• Familiarity with test instrumentation, data acquisition and electro-mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute the established vision and strategy for product development and lifecycle support.
• Lead and manage the engineering team and development schedules.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with corporate goals.
• Drive cost reduction and introduce development methodologies across projects.
• Collaborate with service, operations, supply chain, and finance to meet business needs.
