American Family Insurance in Madison, WI seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering (Hybrid). You will lead cross-functional teams, define modernization roadmaps, and ensure delivery of scalable software solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities include shaping product roadmaps, managing budgets and risks, and guiding engineering practices through SDLC, while fostering a collaborative, performance‑driven culture with stakeholders across the business.

Formación

• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to support multiple business partners and technology stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and SDLC, with ability to establish and mature new technology platforms, teams, and operating models.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.

Responsabilidades

• Applies technical knowledge to create a modernization roadmap and architect solutions.
• Manages design, development, engineering, implementation and operations of servers, networks, and cloud/hosting services.
• Oversees development of product roadmaps and backlogs prioritized by value delivery.
• Drives product development balancing user needs, business objectives, resources, and feasibility.
• Leads cloud and end-user service delivery projects ensuring on-time, on-budget completion.
