Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 11 years of engineering experience.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Team management and/or leadership experience of a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of chief engineers within the Design Engineering department.
• Maintain open communication amongst the team to enable collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Lead diverse, multi-disciplinary engineering leaders in a dynamic product development environment.
• Drive excellence in technical leadership and risk management.
• Support the team with feedback and oversight; mentor for career development.
• Manage the local Associate Chief Engineer program; nurture future talent.
• Collaborate with the Design Engineering Director to balance staffing with workload.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across programs.
• Ensure adherence to DOE/DoD program gate reviews and necessary governance.
