IDEX Corporation in Cedar Falls, IA, seeks a Engineering Manager to lead the Current Products team in sustaining products and driving cross-functional goals. You will guide engineers and designers, manage project delivery, and partner with Product Management and Operations on cost reduction and VAVE efforts.

You will mentor staff, assess workloads, and schedule initiatives to meet customer needs while ensuring safety and reliability in every design. Travel may be required.

Competenze

• Two-year degree in engineering technology or drafting required; BS preferred.
• 3–5 years' rotating equipment experience with liquid handling if possible.
• Supervisory experience is required; ability to lead engineers and designers.

Mansioni

• Lead and assign engineers and designers within the Current Products team.
• Ensure timely completion of orders and drawing requests for customers.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Operations on 80/20 and VAVE activities.
• Assess engineering requirements and assign projects to meet customer needs.
• Analyze work, estimate time to complete, and monitor performance with timelines.
• Schedule and lead project work to meet deadlines.
• Ensure timely execution of group projects and communicate delivery criteria.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations using objective data.
• Identify new technologies and tools to improve understanding and efficiency.
• Ensure safety and reliability are central to every design.
• Mentor staff and suggest educational opportunities to raise performance.
• May require travel as job demands.
