Job summary

IDEX is seeking a capable engineering leader to head the Current Products Engineering group focused on sustainment and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive engineering work, support production issues, and push cost-reduction initiatives.

You will also collaborate with the Engineering Director to lead the team and ensure safe, reliable designs. Qualifications include a two-year engineering degree with 3–5 years in rotating equipment, plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in engineering technology, industrial design, drafting or related field.
• 3–5 years in rotating equipment and liquid handling, supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, PDM and basic tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assign Engineers and Designers within the Current Products team.
• Drive timely completion of orders and drawing requests for customers.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Operations on 80/20 and VAVE activities.
• Mentor staff and evaluate performance using objective data.
