Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to plan, develop, deploy and maintain network control plane protocols, routing stacks, and lifecycle management software for a highly scaled network.
• Recruit, coach and mentor senior and junior software engineers.
• Collaborate with management, customers and adjacent development teams to build state of the art solutions, incorporate new technologies, and algorithms.
• Set quality standards, build mechanisms and processes for team efficiency, continuously inventing and simplifying.
