Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a software leader to own and operate critical, highly scalable network control plane software within the Core Networking Team. You will manage a high-performing engineering group, drive end-to-end software life cycle and ensure design, development, testing and operations meet high standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to deliver and own the control plane software and related lifecycle management.
• Recruit, coach and mentor senior and junior software engineers.
• Collaborate with management, customers and adjacent teams to build state-of-the-art solutions and algorithms.
• Set quality standards and processes to continuously improve team efficiency and delivery.
