Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of technical experience with at least 3 years of relevant engineering management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or technical teams.
• Demonstrated people and project management experience.
• Broad understanding of engineering development processes and collaboration across disciplines.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers across mechanical, aerospace, electrical, software, and CT/NDT domains.
• Partner with Government stakeholders to understand requirements and establish priorities.
• Align personnel and expertise to multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee engineering efforts from requirements through design, integration, testing and delivery.
• Facilitate design reviews and ensure SME participation.
• Manage schedules, resources, risks, and delivery.
• Provide personnel management, mentorship and performance development.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, integration, flight ops, logistics, and procurement.
• Communicate status, challenges, risks, and resources to leadership.
