Job summary

Flashpoint is seeking an Engineering Lead II to take technical ownership of Echosec, Strategic Entity Data and Identify. This senior team ships a Laravel platform, a Python AI service, and a data pipeline handling sensitive breach data.

You will own architecture as well as roadmap, and stay in the code to earn trust. You'll pair with a Product Manager, own three surfaces, and grow the engineering team, drive KPI and commitment reviews, and represent the team in cross-functional forums.

Qualifications

• Led a team of 5–8 engineers owning a customer-facing product end to end.
• Produced architecture decisions and on-call rotation accountability.
• Experience with production workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of Echosec, SED and Identify platforms.
• Lead Echosec platform, a Laravel app on Kubernetes.
• Extend AI layer with Python for NLP search and reporting.
• Own ingestion pipeline for Strategic Entity Data, cost and scale decisions.
• Partner with Product Manager and other teams across Flashpoint.
• Mentor senior engineers and manage career paths and performance.
