Job summary

HighLevel is seeking an Engineering Manager II to lead the Platform Services team that builds shared infrastructure and core services used across multiple product lines. This role combines hands-on architecture with leadership, owning delivery, reliability, and platform health at scale.

You will drive observability, cost governance, and cross-functional collaboration with product, SRE, and security teams while mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years as a software development manager or equivalent.
• Expert-level proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience managing a platform team or contributing on platform teams at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Own distributed systems architecture for platform services.
• Drive cost optimization across cloud infrastructure with measurable impact.
• Own roadmap planning, estimation, and delivery for platform team initiatives.
• Establish observability and incident management practices; drive blameless postmortems.
