Job summary

Jobgether seeks an Engineering Lead for a remote, full-time role based in the United States. You will direct technical strategy for a global Workforce Management track, architecting end-to-end solutions using UKG ProWFM and modern integrations across ERP/HRIS systems, while guiding teams and partners through complex transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology experience, including 3+ years with UKG ProWFM.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS.
• Cloud experience, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of AI in business/workflows, including LLMs and OpenAI concepts.
• Strong programming in Java and Python; API design experience.
• Extensive API integration experience (REST, web services, messaging).
• Proficiency with Boomi AtomSphere and MuleSoft.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and data streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• DevOps/CI-CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, and cloud integration techniques.
• Strong testing discipline and automated testing for APIs/services.
• SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery) and Looker Studio.
• Security, data protection, GDPR compliance across markets.
• Ability to coordinate multiple deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Open-minded, continuous-learning mindset, AI and automation focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/architecture/implementation of end-to-end WFM solutions using UKG ProWFM.
• Serve as technical SME for WFM implementations, upgrades, and large-scale deployments.
• Architect integrations between WFM and HRIS/payroll/ERP systems.
• Design scalable, secure integration solutions (Boomi/MuleSoft/BTP).
• Translate requirements into scalable technical designs and roadmaps.
• Establish processes, milestones, and delivery practices for on-time projects.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to enhance workflows.
• Maintain technical docs: architecture, specs, and user guides.
• Ensure security, governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Guide teams and partners; mentor engineers; coordinate multiple deliverables.
• Promote Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) with cross-team collaboration.
