Job summary

CBRE seeks an Engineering Lead to manage a team providing technical and operational support to the account staff. You will oversee training, performance evaluations, and hiring while coordinating daily activities and maintaining client relationships.

The role involves guiding managers, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with procedures. Strong math, MS Office skills, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality and efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced math skills for percentages, fractions, and financial calculations.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Prior supervision experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees.
• Monitor training and development of staff; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities; establish work schedules and assign tasks.
• Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Manage profits and losses for the department or division.
• Develop goals and initiatives; guide managers in company initiatives.
• Evaluate processes to resolve issues within them.
• Ensure operations follow established procedures.
• Keep regulatory records and paperwork.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values; influence stakeholders.
• Apply disciplinary knowledge to cross-functional objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
