Job summary

Job Juncture, an innovation-driven medical technology growth company, seeks a Technical Lead in Austin to guide end-to-end development of next-gen orthopedic technologies, focusing on AR navigation or robotic integration. You will direct cross-disciplinary engineering efforts spanning electrical, mechanical, software, and biomedical domains.

You will partner with Clinical, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to align clinical needs with technical architectures,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in complex medical devices or related tech products.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and large projects.
• Strong background in systems engineering, integrating software, electronics, mechanical hardware, and algorithms.
• Solid understanding of medical device design controls, risk management, V&V, and product lifecycle management.
• Willingness to travel internationally with valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary enabling technologies and system architecture.
• Lead system integration translating clinical concepts into complete medical device products.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EU MDR, IEC, and ISO standards throughout development.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks across hardware, software, algorithms, and workflows; oversee verification and validation.
• Mentor engineering teams to foster excellence and innovation.
• Evaluate AR, navigation, AI, sensors, visualization, and automation for future roadmaps.
