Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an Engineering Manager for AI Platform & Agentic Apps in Menlo Park, CA. You will lead a team building an agent platform powering AI agents across Robinhood products, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Security to ensure trusted, auditable operations in a regulated brokerage setting.

You will guide architecture, production readiness, and scale for agentic features, working to ship real-world, responsible AI that acts on behalf of customers and employees.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing software engineers with a track record of hiring and shipping at scale.
• Hands-on depth in LLM systems and production tool-calling agents.
• Experience running consumer-scale production services with SLOs, on-call, and external dependencies.
• Judgment in ambiguous, fast-changing spaces with focused roadmaps and measurable goals.
• Direct, clear communication with engineers, product, and executives; strong writing and trust-building.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the team behind Robinhood's agentic applications and own the roadmap for agents that scale to millions of users.
• Set technical direction on agent orchestration, tool integration, evals, and permissioning for consequential actions.
• Ensure agents are trustworthy in a regulated brokerage: implement eval-gated releases, guardrails, and audit trails with Legal and Compliance.
• Own production reliability for nondeterministic systems running on third-party model providers; establish SLOs, fallbacks, and root-cause analysis.
• Define and report key metrics (task completion, quality, latency, cost per task) to leadership with quantitative updates.
