Job summary

Liberty Pumps in Town of Bergen, NY seeks a skilled engineering technician to support assembly activities, learn assembly techniques, and provide technical assistance across development and certification testing.

You will develop competence in certification requirements (CSA, UL, etc.), participate in test plans, and help maintain lab equipment and procedures. This role emphasizes ISO 9001 compliance, safety, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

2-year degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering drawings.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with Liberty Pumps assembly techniques and provide technical support.
Develop and execute test plans to meet certification requirements.
Conduct product assembly for development, validation, and certification testing.
Maintain laboratory build and test equipment, tools, and facilities.
Coordinate production testing for LEP and Commercial products.
Participate in customer tours and product demonstrations.
Follow ISO 9001 requirements and safety guidelines.
Communicate with internal departments and external vendors.
