What’s it like to work on cutting edge avionic electronics components that make up both Military and Commercial systems for use in aircraft of the future? As an Engineering Electronics Technician, you will work closely with design engineers to evaluate, troubleshoot, and test new electronic assemblies, drawing from a solid understanding of electronics principles and problem-solving skills. Technicians must be proficient in using instrumentation such as voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers, and be able to read technical documentation including electrical schematics and drawings.
The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, enjoys solving technical problems, working with their hands, collaborating, and following instructions. Responsibilities include electronics testing and troubleshooting, prototype circuit development and fabrication, lab organization, equipment maintenance, and promoting lab safety. A working knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronic circuits and experience with electronic instruments are required.
