Job summary

FT Precision in Ohio is seeking a quality-focused professional to lead assigned tasks and ensure department goals are met. You will prioritize workstreams, drive timely progress, and communicate clearly with team members to keep projects on track.

You will confirm incoming parts per receiving inspection procedures, perform measurement verifications on internal processes, and establish schedules for new die verifications.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Education or any combination of equivalent experience and education.
• Experience: Preferred minimum of 1 year related work.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned tasks to meet departmental goals.
• Determine priority of tasks to assist goals and overall objectives.
• Confirm incoming parts from suppliers according to inspection procedures.
• Measurement verification for internal processes that cannot be adequately verified at the process level.
• Establish and track new die verification schedule as per company requirements.
• Measurement verification of parts produced off new dies and cavities as required.
• Perform material specification testing for steel and aluminum to ensure production requirements meet drawings.
• Communicate defective product concerns to responsible persons or departments to ensure proper reaction procedures.
• Maintain lab equipment operation to ensure measurements are accurate and judgments are correct.
• Assist department with improvement activity for new model and mass production.
• All other assigned duties.
