Qualifications

• MS in an engineering discipline or related field.
• Relevant industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment (machining, controllers, or electronic testing) preferred.
• Prototyping background preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in engineering or related courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 30 credits of laboratory and/or lecture courses in the Engineering Department each academic year.
• Maintain labs and lab equipment in the Engineering Department.
• Ensure engineering labs comply with university, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Provide prototyping guidance to students involved in UTXplore, capstone, design practicum, and research projects.
• Attend department, college, and division faculty meetings; work with faculty in program management and follow University policy and procedures.
• Perform campus duties including office hours, student advising, and university service as defined by policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
