Daikin Comfort seeks an Engineering Lab Manager to oversee all lab operations, ensuring safety, data integrity, and improved testing throughput. The role leads calibration, purchasing, safety, training and quality teams, developing procedures for standardized operations with a focus on improvement.

Requires 8–12+ years in engineering, 5+ years in leadership, and a BS in Science or Engineering. Strong data analytics, DOE/8D/6 Sigma expertise, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required.
• 8–12+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in HVAC lab testing and quality-oriented environments.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving and project management capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage lab personnel and drive engagement, performance, and safety.
• Develop and sustain 6S/continuous improvement in the lab.
• Lead DOE/8D/6 Sigma projects to improve data quality and throughput.
• Oversee budgets, calibration, purchasing, safety, training and quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with UL, Intertek, ANSI, ASHRAE, DOE and ISO standards.
