Job summary

Daikin-Goodman Manufacturing is seeking an Engineering Lab Manager to oversee all lab operations, ensure testing follows protocol, and secure a safe, high-quality data environment. The role leads calibration, safety, training, and quality teams while driving continuous improvement and DOE/6 Sigma implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12+ years in engineering with HVAC experience, a Bachelor's degree, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a lab environment.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Experience applying DOE/6 Sigma to test programs.
• Knowledge of HVAC testing standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage lab personnel and mentor staff; drive engagement and performance.
• Maintain safety standards and foster a zero-incident culture.
• Develop and sustain 6S program in lab operations; standardize processes.
• Oversee calibration, procurement, safety, and quality functions.
