Ben Hur Construction Co. invites a Engineering Summer Intern to assist project managers, engineers, and field teams on planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

This hands-on internship offers exposure to real-world construction environments, engineering practices, and project management processes. You will gain real-world experience in general construction, develop communication skills, and be mentored by seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in general construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in outdoor and active construction environments.

• Assist with reviewing architectural, civil and MEP drawings.
• Support project personnel with layout, measurements, and quality checks.
• Participate in safety meetings and learn about safety protocols.
• Help track project progress, material deliveries, and daily reports.
• Conduct site assessments and assist with inspections and documentation.
• Use Procore software for tasks to support projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, project engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
