Job summary

GEON Performance Solutions is seeking an Engineering Intern (Technical) to gain hands-on experience in process optimization, product testing, and data analysis within our manufacturing environment. Under a mentor, you will contribute to technical projects and learn Geon's technologies and operations.

You will develop skills in data interpretation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Operations, while adhering to safety and EH&S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong academic performance in technical coursework.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, or testing methods.
• Proactive problem-solving and willingness to learn new tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support technical projects involving process optimization, testing, or data collection.
• Conduct laboratory or production floor work under supervision, following safety protocols.
• Assist engineers with data entry, equipment setup, sampling, and experimental trials.
• Collect and analyze data to support process improvement initiatives.
• Document results and reports in accordance with Geon standards.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Operations.
• Prepare presentations or summaries of technical findings for internal review.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to EH&S guidelines.
