Qualifications

• Enrollment in an associate degree program or higher.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles.
• Must be at least 18 years of age by start of employment.
• Must maintain full-time graduate status taking 9+ credit hours per semester before and following internship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with VDOT staff and external contacts; resolve issues and project observations.
• Apply engineering technology principles to assigned programs and interpret policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on testing equipment; handle transportation and storage guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain daily project documentation to prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate records and update data to meet deadlines and requirements.
