Job summary

Medtronic is seeking Engineering Interns for summer opportunities. Internships are full-time (40 hours/week) and last 10–11 weeks, with competitive pay, housing assistance, and relocation support for eligible interns.

Interns may support Research & Development, Operations, and Quality engineering areas based on business needs and location availability. Most internships are based in multiple U.S. hubs with strong emphasis on gaining hands-on manufacturing and design experience.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States and not requiring sponsorship for internship positions.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, analysis, and testing of engineering solutions during research and product development phases.
• Contribute to system integration, verification, validation, risk analysis, and data‑driven evaluation efforts.
• Support safety testing, regulatory compliance, and transfer of products from development into manufacturing.
