Job summary

Medtronic offers a full-time, summer internship for engineering students with 40 hours per week for 10–11 weeks. The program provides competitive compensation, housing assistance, and relocation support for eligible interns.

Internships are based across several hubs in the United States, with preferences given to SHPE convention attendees. Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, industrial, materials science & engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or related field with the stated graduation windows.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided for internships.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, operations, process improvement, or related internships.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the intern cohort with a full-time, 40-hour work week from June 1 to August 13 (semester system) or June 14 to August 20 (quarter system).
• Support manufacturing and process improvement projects at Medtronic sites.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and standard work instructions.
• Analyze data related to operations, quality, or engineering processes.
