Job summary

Vontier Corporation's Gilbarco Veeder-Root division is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern in Greensboro, NC. You will develop product design solutions that meet customer requirements while balancing cost, quality, and delivery constraints.

You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations teams. We welcome students enrolled in accredited mechanical engineering programs and who can work in office and manufacturing environments.

• Enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program with minimum completion of Sophomore year.
• Willing and able to work in an office and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop product design solutions that meet customer requirements while balancing regulations, product cost, project budget, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally between engineering, product management, project management, reliability, supply chain, and operations teams.

Hourly rates are as follows:

• Sophomore:$23/hour
• Junior: $24/hour
• Senior: $27/hour
• Master's: $27/hour

Interns are eligible for company-paid holidays and one scheduled paid volunteer day. Interns are not eligible for vacation benefits, 401(k), medical or dental coverage, scholarships, or tuition reimbursement.
