Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Brewster, NY is seeking an Intern Engineer for the DEWALT ANF Brewster product line. You’ll assist with development of product and testing programs, operate lab equipment, create test reports and evaluate results to support the Mechanical Anchor family.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on testing, data analysis and design processes to ensure quality, performance and reliability of our products.

Qualifications

• Engineering student in mechanical, civil or structural disciplines.
• Hands-on testing experience or willingness to perform.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design processes to meet quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives.
• Perform hands-on product testing and data collection.
• Define product specifications from test results and analyses.
• Investigate design issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer requirements and tests.
• Assist builds of engineering, manufacturing and pilot lots to ensure quality.
