Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant coursework or projects related to engineering principles and practices.
• Experience using data analysis or engineering software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering projects on manufacturing, process improvement, equipment reliability, product quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret technical and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment, process, and production-related issues.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and tracking activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, procedures, and presentations.
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering recommendations and project goals.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, environmental, and safety teams on assigned projects.
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvement activities as assigned.
• Participate in plant, laboratory, office, and field activities as required by project assignments.
• Present project findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
