Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking an Engineering Intern in Buffalo, NY to apply classroom learning to real manufacturing challenges. You will work with engineers, operators, quality professionals, and maintenance teams to understand how products are made and help improve processes.

You will own a meaningful project with guidance, investigate issues, reduce scrap, improve a process, or support automation. At program end, you will present results and recommendations to facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Interest in applying engineering skills to manufacturing challenges.
• Willingness to work with data and learn new tools.
• A collaborative mindset and respect for production staff.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety practices and work in office and manufacturing areas.
• Define a project and develop practical solutions with guidance.
• Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities and measure results.
• Use CAD, testing equipment, data analysis, and lean methods as needed.
• Present capstone project findings to facility leadership.
