Crux Subsurface, Inc. is seeking an Engineer Intern to support foundation engineering projects focused on design-build methods for electrical transmission and distribution.

You will collaborate with civil, structural, geotechnical and construction management professionals to apply engineering theory learned in your studies. This on-site role in Spokane Valley requires ongoing learning, strong communication and a collaborative approach while developing practical design skills for bidding and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with geotechnical, civil and structural focus.
• EIT Eligible preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized and able to work in a team environment.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, LPILE, GROUP, SAP2000, RISA 3D, Enercalc and MathCAD is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Carry out engineering tasks using standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Develop preliminary foundation designs for bidding purposes.
• Perform design calculations for foundations (Helical Piles, Drilled Shafts, Micropiles, anchors, piles).
• Interface with a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Work under supervision of senior team members.
