Job summary

Celltron Inc. in Kansas is seeking motivated engineering-focused students for its Engineering Internship Program.

Interns will gain hands-on exposure to production operations, learn how cable and wire harnesses are built, and contribute to manufacturing processes and documentation. The program offers part-time schedules during the school year and a summer program, with opportunities to work alongside experienced engineers and participate in active projects within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools preferred.
• Interest in manufacturing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced engineers to learn Celltron's engineering and manufacturing processes
• Gain hands-on knowledge of cable and wire harness production
• Assist with fabrication oversight, coordination, and technical support for production teams
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Assist with translating customer requirements into production-ready manufacturing instructions
• Develop and maintain assembly processes and supporting documentation
• Assist with designing cable and wire harness layouts and supporting CAD drawings
• Design and create form boards using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams on active projects

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
