Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in STEM disciplines such as Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools

Responsibilities

• Support data collection and analysis for optimization of new wire and cable conductors constructions in our Industrial plant
• Research standards and specifications to create tools for improved efficiency in analyzing samples
• Use a variety of analytical techniques to validate wire and cable constructions including Instron tensile and elongation, Optical dimensional analysis, resistance bridges, and mass analysis
• Construct models incorporating measured data to launch future new products
• Update process instructions based off measured validation data
