Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an Associate's degree program or higher.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles.
• Must be at least 18 years old at start of employment.
• Must maintain a full-time graduate status taking 9+ credit hours per semester.
• Must maintain a full-time undergraduate status taking 12+ credit hours per semester.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with VDOT staff and external contacts.
• Apply engineering technology principles to assigned program areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on testing equipment.
• Perform duties as assigned and manage project documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and timely data entries.
• Follow guidelines for equipment storage, use and transport.
