Job summary

Entergy is offering a Student, Intern position in the Power Delivery Engineering team for Summer 2027 in Arkansas. You will assist engineers with daily activities, model designs, prepare drawings, and help estimate materials while supporting transmission operations and analytics.

Qualified students must be enrolled in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with a 2.8 GPA or higher, and a junior or beyond is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (4.0 scale), verified via official transcript.
• Open to junior candidates or beyond at time of hire; preferred for internship cohort.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in day-to-day activities and design work.
• Model surveyed field configurations using design software.
• Prepare operational one-line drawings and validate estimates.
• Manage projects in construction and complete as-built documentation.
• Participate in planning calls and support grid reliability initiatives.
• Support data mining, reporting, and engineering analyses in transmission.
• Travel may be required for the position.
