Ovintiv offers a comprehensive summer internship designed to give students a solid foundation of knowledge through experiential training and real-world projects. Interns will work closely with a mentor and be assigned a project across drilling, completions, or data analytics, gaining hands-on experience.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum engineering, must be full-time through December 2027, and be available May 17 to August 5, 2027.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum.

Responsibilities

• Spend summer with a mentor on a project aligned with Ovintiv's operations.
• Work in Reservoir & Development, Drilling, Completions, Operations & Production, Infrastructure, Water & Facilities, or Data Analytics.
• Assist with analysis and learning opportunities to contribute to project goals.
