Job summary

Ovintiv's Internship program in Denver/The Woodlands targets Technology, Data & Digital roles. You will work with a mentor on projects in software development, data analytics and cybersecurity, with exposure to cloud operations and digital engineering.

Ideal candidates are technology-minded students pursuing technical degrees, available May 17–August 5, 2027, and enrolled full-time through December 2027. In-office environment emphasized for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
• Must be available May 17–August 5, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support full-stack application development and testing using React and Python.
• Assist with data engineering, analytics, visualization and BI tools (Databricks, SQL, Python).
• Support threat monitoring, risk assessments, and security awareness activities.
• Assist with cloud, infrastructure, network, and IT projects.
• Apply engineering knowledge and data to drilling, completions, production or related functions.
• Help gather requirements and coordinate technology initiatives using agile delivery.
