Job summary

OUC - The Reliable One in Orlando, FL is offering an Engineering Intern position within the Transformation & Technology division. You will partner with the Emerging Technologies team to gain hands-on experience across data logging, field support, and prototyping.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in college, junior or above, pursuing Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, with a 3.0+ GPA, authorized to work in the United States, and internship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Academic status of Junior or above; program of study in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining data logging scripts for equipment and field system performance.
• Assisting engineers with field support, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Designing and fabricating 3D-printed parts and tools to support prototyping and maintenance.
• Developing experiments exploring new technologies for grid operations.
• Supporting dashboards for visualizing data from fielded systems.
