Job summary

Martin Marietta's Summer Engineering Internship provides students with meaningful, hands-on experience supporting enterprise-wide engineering and capital improvement projects. Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a listed engineering field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, and ethical standards in all activities.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.
• Assist with engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Gain experience using engineering and business software such as AutoCAD, JD Edwards, and AggFlow.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
• Demonstrate professionalism and work ethic while working independently or in a team.
