Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) invites applications for an Engineering Intern | Civil in our Harrisburg, PA office.

This role offers hands-on experience across municipal & water resources, site design, water/wastewater, and transportation projects in a collaborative team setting. Current students pursuing an engineering degree gain exposure under supervision, with no prior professional experience required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering or related degree; internship is preferred but not required.
• No prior professional experience required; coursework in engineering is a plus.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, take initiative, and maintain quality work.
• Ability to travel to job sites and other offices; valid US driver’s license and work authorization required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with basic design and development tasks under supervision.
• Gather and organize project data, including code requirements and industry standards.
• Support data collection, field inspections, and preparation of technical documents.
• Use standard office and engineering software to support project activities.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in assigned tasks.
• Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization.
