Job summary

HRG Inc in Allentown, PA is seeking an Engineering Intern | Civil to gain hands-on experience supporting real-world projects within our infrastructure service group. This internship offers exposure to municipal and water resources, site design, water and wastewater, and transportation projects while you pursue your engineering degree.

You will work with experienced engineers, assist with data gathering, modeling, documentation, and use common software.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field; preferred but not required.
• No prior professional experience required; internship or coursework in engineering is a plus.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
• Proficient with common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic tasks in the design and development of engineering projects under supervision
• Gather and organize project data, including code requirements and industry standards
• Support data collection, field inspections, and preparation of technical documentation
• Use standard office and engineering software to support project activities
• Ensure accuracy and quality in assigned tasks
• Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization
