Qualifications

• Current high school student or graduated high school.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient using computers and software.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good mechanical, analytical, and technical skills.
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
• Team player and self-motivated.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Understanding of design documentation methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings using CAD software.
• Review customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals for feasibility.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings to update designs.
• Develop concepts for components and assemblies with engineering team.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics under supervision.
• Assist with sheet metal parts for laser cutting and bending.
• Support mechanical analysis of manufactured equipment for codes.
