Job summary

The Duracell Company in Cleveland, TN is offering a 10-12 week engineering internship designed to provide hands-on experience. Interns will work on projects to apply classroom learning, analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment design.

Jointly with Material Process Development Engineers, you will gain insight into industrial engineering practices, learn safety protocols, and potentially contribute to future full-time opportunities after graduation, as

Qualifications

Junior or Senior Chemical or Mechanical Eng majors at an accredited university.
GPA of 2.8 or higher.
Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Ability to learn safety procedures and application software.
Demonstrated ability to use data to solve problems.
Demonstrated flexibility to achieve desired results.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Working closely with Material Process Develop Engineers on improvements and qualifications of new initiatives.
Process and instrumentation diagram documentation.
Safely work in a manufacturing facility per required safety training at start of internship.
Providing periodic progress updates as required.
