Job summary

Weil-McLain, a leading North American brand of hydronic heating systems, invites a paid internship in Eden, NC. Working closely with engineering teams, you'll contribute to new product development, process improvement and testing while gaining hands-on experience.

You will help with BOM reviews, drawings, and parts reviews, develop practical skills, and learn to analyze data, meet deadlines, and communicate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least junior level in a bachelor's program majoring in an Engineering field.
• 3.0/4.0 GPA or better
• Strong interest in mechanical engineering aligned to product, manufacturing or sustaining engineering
• Comfortable working in lab or manufacturing environments with rapidly changing deadlines, workloads, and goals

Responsibilities

• Work closely with associates by assisting on projects
• Coordinate a variety of projects from inception through completion and follow-up
• Provide data or information for accurate decisions
• Participate in department meetings
• Support staff on tasks as assigned

JOBSUMMARY -

Working closely with the various Engineering Teams, this internship role will be hands‑on with our products. You will assist with projects such as new product development, process improvement and testing, first article inspection, algorithm development, BOM comparisons, drawings and parts reviews.

Thesuccessfulintern candidatewillhave an educational backgroundin mechanical engineering.Must bedetail-oriented, willing to learn and ask questions,andthrive in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
