Job summary

The Marley Company, on behalf of SPX Technologies, invites you to join as an intern in our engineering-focused program. You will gain hands-on experience, work with experts, and collaborate across departments to drive results while developing practical skills for accelerated learning.

You will engage in data analysis, process improvement opportunities, and cross-functional teamwork to support projects that impact our HVAC and detection solutions.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist on projects in office and plant environments.
  • Coordinate projects from inception to completion and follow-up.
  • Provide data or information for informed decisions.
  • Participate in department meetings and cross-team collaboration.
  • Support staff on tasks as assigned.
  • Assist in evaluating processes for efficiency and improvements.
  • Collaborate to develop standard work instructions or process documents.
  • Develop and refine verbal and written communications.

What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)

  • Work in office and/or plant environment
  • Frequently required to stand, walk and sit
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • When in production areas, frequent requirement for use of foot, eye and ear protection
