General Motors in Milford, Michigan is seeking a confident, execution‑oriented leader to shape the Embedded Software Architecture program. You will manage a team of 12–15 engineers, define governance, KPIs/OKRs, and align cross‑functional partners to deliver safe, high‑quality software across vehicle systems.
This hybrid role reports to the Milford area with in‑person presence three days per week and a focus on building scalable software architectures that support an all‑electric future.

In this people leader role, as well as having responsibilities for the Embedded Controls Software Architecture strategy, you will help develop and lead strategic action plans as we reinvent ourselves from auto manufacturer to a tech company! The heart of this position is to take the natural complexity of large systems and condense them to simple, executable software plans, a key driver of our scaling ambitions.
