Qualifications

• High School/GED required and valid certification related to gauge operation.
• Nuclear Gauge Operator Certification (APNGA or equivalent) is required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct construction testing (soil, concrete, asphalt, or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams
• Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
• Communicate effectively with client and project teams
