Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Field Technician to support the drilling crew in safe, efficient operation of drilling equipment on environmental, geotechnical, construction, and remediation projects. You will assist with site setup, equipment maintenance, sample collection, and general labor while learning drilling techniques and field operations.

The role involves on-site work in Lenexa, KS, with a two-week away schedule followed by one week local, and a per diem of $68 per day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Work Environment

The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires travel to project sites. Initially, the schedule will be two weeks away followed by one week local. Accommodation in hotels is provided while away, with a per diem of $68 per day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
