Actalent in East Hartford, CT is seeking an entry-level Field Technician who will travel regionally, primarily around East Hartford. No experience required; comprehensive training provided; must pass drug test and maintain clean driving record.

You will perform basic field testing of corrosion control systems, drive between sites in a company vehicle, and work independently with support from staff. This contract-to-hire role offers onsite work and growth in a niche engineering field.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work independently, make field decisions without direct supervision, and collect field data.
• Compile and submit field data for lead staff review.
• Familiarize with standard survey and construction practices for corrosion projects.
• Evaluate field data and prepare draft reports for the area supervisor.
• Drive from site to site in a company vehicle.

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
