Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Execution Manager to lead the BASE Execution pillar for the DNA programmodernizing the NAS. You will supervise ~30 engineers across seven functional groups and ensure delivery against strategy while coordinating with Delivery and Technical Authority pillars.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in engineering or technical leadership roles.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years supervising engineering staff in a matrixed program.
• Direct experience supervising an engineering community of 20+ people.
• Experience running a multi-source performance feedback cycle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ~30 engineers across seven functional groups with supervisory authority.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one performance check-ins and document outcomes.
• Gather structured feedback from delivery managers, technical leads, and observers.
• Manage onboarding, PTO, and coverage to protect delivery commitments.
• Produce a rolling 90-day staffing forecast and identify capacity gaps.
• Publish weekly utilization reports and track time by lane/deliverable.
• Maintain the resource allocation matrix and reconcile with priorities.
• Prepare and review 30/60/90-day onboarding progress and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance, Contracts, and Security on workforce actions.
